Adept Developer helped BirdNest Software move environmental compliance online by building a web-based application that allows environmental compliance data to be collected in an extensable format (SQL and XML) and then submitted to regulatory agencies. At this point, our PDF generating process produces regulatory forms and permits that are mailed to the regulatory agencies. Birdnest is currently working with state governments to make the entire process automated.

Dallas Voice--a Dallas, Texas-based newspaper for gay and lesbian communities--hired Adept Developer to allow them to update their website content easier and more effeciently.
Prior web development firms had developed poor administrative areas and had not provided any training or help documentation. Our task was to provide an easy-to-use administration area, as well as provide training and documentation for thier in-house staff to update the site.

Special Issues presented Adept Developer with the task of moving their entire printed publication to an online searchable database format. Once the data conversion was complete, Adept Developer took Special Issues' website and enabled them to manage the data through a web-based Content Management system. Finally, the data appeared on Special Issues' website behind a powerful full-text search engine powered by Verity.
In the 3rd Quarter of 2002, Adept Developer was contracted to add new functionality to the flexible data container as well as redesign the site to give it a fresh user interface.

On Air Jobs, Inc contracted Adept Developer to build a data container for its growing job bank. The website contains features such as: job searching, posting resumes, posting airchecks, and an exclusive employers section. All data can be viewed and modified online through the web-based Content Management system.
